2 and 4 Bladed Propellers.
Two and Four blade propellers (and indeed propellers with greater number of blades) are not as common as 3 blade propellers, and both represent an attempt to improve one aspect of propeller
performance, albeit at the sacrifice of a different aspect of performance. For example, the sailing boat may fit 2 blade to reduce drag under sail, but will lose some thrust under power.
